NIGEL A.L. BROOKS
Nigel A.L. Brooks is responsible for the business/technology strategy consulting practice of TechKnowPartners, LLC, and business development across all business and product/service lines.
He is a management consultant to entrepreneurs, business enterprise owners, executives, and managers, and the enterprises they serve. His practice includes business strategy, technology strategy, organizational reviews, performance assessments, and network telephony. He specializes in developing the entrepreneurial, leadership, and managerial competencies that build sustainable advantage from vision to value. He has experience with single entrepreneurs and business owners to the Fortune 100. He is an author and a frequent speaker on business and technology issues. His books include Understanding Personal Styles and The Individual As An Enterprise.
He obtained his professional experience as a partner at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture, Ltd.), as a vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (now Booz and Company), as a senior vice president at the American Express Company, as president of Javazona Cafes, Inc., as president of The Business Leadership Development Corporation (BLD), and as managing member of Nigel Brooks, LLC. He has been a contributing editor for the Bank Administration Institute magazine. He is a graduate of the University of Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom, and has a certificate in global leadership from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, Glendale, Arizona. He is President-Elect of the Rotary Club Tempe East, and a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a member of the Government Relations and Transportation Committee and the Business Resource Advisory Committee of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the boards of the Enterprise Network and The Indus Entrepreneurs (Arizona), and was Chairman of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Business Technology Forum.
His clients are in the construction, education, energy, financial services, food services, government, high-tech, manufacturing and distribution, merchandising, oil and gas, professional services, retail, and transportation industries. His representative engagements include developing business plans and raising capital for entrepreneurial enterprises, developing technology strategy, designing and installing analytical and operational systems, including enterprise resource management and customer relationship management, and reengineering current businesses.
He has experience in North and Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
